Start with voices, sightlines and a real equipment list
A single presenter needs a different layout from two people talking across a table. Plan the occupied chair positions first, then the microphone arms, headphone leads, screens and camera angles. A two-seat meeting layout is a starting point; it does not automatically leave enough room for every recording setup.
- Audio podcast: prioritise comfortable speaking distance, a stable work surface and cable routes clear of the door.
- Video podcast: allow for camera-to-subject distance, frame width and reflections in the glass.
- Remote guest: check your connection inside the pod and place the guest screen close to the camera.
What an acoustic pod can do for your recording
The enclosure helps separate spoken content from a busy surrounding room. Recording quality also depends on the microphone, its distance from the speaker, internal reflections and background sources such as fans. Speech-reduction testing is not a promise of a silent recording studio.
Tell us what you record and what is happening outside. Ask to assess a recording with your proposed microphone and normal ventilation before choosing a demanding setup. Make the outside part of your show
Use a custom wrap for your podcast artwork, a logo decal for your company series or a restrained colour treatment that belongs in your office. A door sticker can identify the studio and explain when a session is in progress. That makes the pod recognisable even when it sits within a larger shared workplace.
Share your artwork and the surfaces you want branded. We can scope wraps and stickers with the pod, including placement and any glass privacy requirements. Branding does not need a separate backdrop package.

- Agree the layout. We will help compare the pod, furniture arrangement and options against that brief. Include your postcode, ceiling height and delivery access.
- Make it yours. Send your logo or artwork and the surfaces you want covered. Agree the wrap, stickers, glass treatment and placement before production.
- Review the full quote. Confirm the pod, furniture, custom graphics, selected installation and timing together. Custom work is quoted to the agreed scope.

Questions about podcast booths
Do you supply microphones, cameras or a recording package?
No. This proposal is for the pod and the agreed furniture, finishes and options. You choose and supply your recording equipment. Send its dimensions so the layout can be checked.
Is a podcast booth completely soundproof?
No enclosure should be assumed to remove every sound. Assess surrounding noise, fan noise and reflections against the recording quality you need. FocusPod’s acoustic information concerns the pod; it is not a studio-performance guarantee.
Can I record a video podcast inside?
Potentially, with a layout that leaves enough camera distance and accounts for the glass. Send the number of people, camera positions and desk dimensions so we can assess the space.
Can the pod carry my podcast artwork?
Yes. Custom wraps, stickers and logo treatments can be scoped as part of your project. Artwork, coverage, pricing and production timing are confirmed in the quote.
